Decamethoxin has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Relatively active Staphylococcus spp.(including penicillin-resistant strains S. aureus), Streptococcus spp., Stomatococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp.(including C diphtheriae). It is active against protozoa, yeast-like fungi, especially candida albicans, dermatomycetes.

Decamethoxine has a bactericidal, fungicidal and sporocidal effect, and also inactivates diphtheria exotoxin.

Reviews about Septefril

Since this drug is distributed in Ukraine, and not in Russia, then reviews of Septefril should be sought on Ukrainian forums. There are few positive reviews about this remedy. For many, he did not help at all to cope with pain and inflammation in the throat:

  • I don’t know whether this Septefril didn’t suit me, or it’s really an ineffective drug for use. But I did not feel any changes, although, according to the instructions, I regularly absorbed it for three days. The throat, as it hurt, continued to hurt.
  • The pediatrician prescribed Septefril to her son. But he did not help at all - his throat hurts, red.
  • Better take a more eminent analogue - Septoleteif your throat hurts. And this Septefril, although cheap, is absolutely useless.

Although, of course, there are positive reviews:

  • I was in Ukraine - I bought several packs of Septefril. When the throat itches, it is worth sucking a couple of tablets - and everything goes away. But now they are over. Who will tell you an analogue at the same price that you can buy in Russia?

Most of the people participating in the discussion of this drug believe that with a cold it is better to restore health with folk remedies - warm drinks, rinses. In principle, one cannot but agree with them, especially when it comes to children. If Septefril is prescribed to you by a doctor, for example, for the sake of prophylaxis after a dental operation, do not neglect this appointment.
